ABOUT THE COURSE
This is a 9-week program designed for intermediate and advanced level artists who want to take their design skills to a professional level through the workflows used in the video game and entertainment industry. Throughout the mentorship we will cover the complete Concept Design pipeline, including:
- Blockout and 3D modeling in Blender.
- Texturing and rendering workflows.
- Creating your own library of modular assets.
- Integrating Blender with Photoshop.
- Professional photobashing techniques.
- Composition and visual hierarchy.
- Shape language and form construction.
- Rhythm, color, and silhouette design.
- Lighting applied to concept art.
Production-oriented environment design workflows. While the main focus is on realistic and semi-realistic environment design, the principles and methodologies you will learn can be applied to any discipline within Concept Art. This is not an illustration course, but a design course. The goal is to learn how to make solid visual decisions and develop a professional workflow, similar to the one used in production studios.

- Week 2 – Hard Surface and Modularity Objective: Create your own assets using hard surface modeling techniques and modular design principles.
- Week 3 – Introduction to Photobashing Objective: Learn to integrate textures and photographs onto 3D models to enrich designs.
